The first annual meeting of the national R & D implementation plan consultation was held at IPP, from April 21st to 22nd, 2018, Mr. HUANG Qiliang presided over the workshop. Mr. CUI Jianghao, Director of Department of Science and Education, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (MARA), Mr. WANG Jianqiang, Investigator of Planting division, MARA, Dr. ZHONG Dasen, Science and Technology Development Center, MARA, Academician WU Kongming, project management expert committee expert, the vice president of CAAS, Academician SONG Baoan, expert panel of project advisory group, the president of Guizhou University, Mr. XI Zhen, Director of National Engineering Research Center of Pesticide, Nankai University, and the project consultant including Prof. GAO Xiwu, Prof. LIU Xili, China Agricultural University, Prof. ZHANG Youjun, Deputy Director General of Vegetable Institute of CAAS，Prof. ZHOU Xueping, DG of IPP attended the meeting. The opening ceremony was presided by Prof. ZHENG Yongquan, DDG of IPP.
Firstly, DDG ZHENG Yongquan represented the project hosts to deliver a welcome speech，and DG ZHOU Xueping summarized the consultation meeting and expressed his warm thanks to the experts’ participation and support. On behalf of the professional organization of project management, Dr. ZHONG Dasen put forward the suggestions and requirements about the management of project process, system construction, periodic reports, implementation progress, assessment and so on, Prof. CUI Jianghao emphasized that the project has important supporting role on the national zero growth in national pesticide and fertilizer, WANG Jianqiang pointed out that the project should focus on crop classification and the positioning in "Two Reduction" Development Plan (namely reduction of two chemicals: fertilizer and pesticide application). The program implementation plan consultation meeting was presided by the leader of the project consultation group, Academician SONG Baoan. On behalf of the project teams, Prof. HUANG Qiliang, the chief scientist for the project reported the research approaches and implementation of the project, and the work plan leaders of the project reported their specific implementation plans, respectively. Then the experts reviewed accurately about the project and the implementation plans, and gave some pertinent comments and suggestions about the positioning of the plan, such as representative scenario selection. Prof. HUANG Qiliang, presided over the first annual work meeting of the project in 2018 after the consulting with the experts. All of the project execution experts and project staff attended the meeting. After conducted a thorough discussion on expert advice, they made a full communication and arrangements indetails about the research progress of each subject in 2017 and the work plan for 2018.
More than 110 researchers attended the meeting. The workshop made the project of the mechanism and control of high-efficiency transfer and deposition of chemical pesticides to target further clarify the orientation, the detailed implementation plan, highlighting the key target, which will play a crucial role in implementing the project successfully and fulfilling the with a high efficiency and good quality.
