Learnt from the bulletin released by National Natural Science Foundation (NNSF), China, on 17 August, IPP obtained 38 NNSF projects in 2016. The approved fund is 22.24 million RMB, ranking the forefront in CAAS.

In 2016, scientists in IPP applied all together 97 NNSF projects and 38 were approved. Among these projects, there is one key project, one key international (regional) cooperation project, 25 general projects, 10 youth projects, and one international (regional) cooperation and exchange project. The averaged funding rate is 39.18%. There is a different extend of raise in different types of projects compared to year 2015.
