Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS) organized an on-site exhibition on technology integration to increase the yield and efficiency of green production in single-cropping rice in Zhuji City, Zhejiang Province, on 17-18 October, 2015. Prof. CHEN Mengshan, Secretary of Leading Party Group of CAAS, Mr. Huang Xuming, the Vice Governor of Zhejiang Province, Prof. Wang Hanzhong, the Deputy President of CAAS, Mr. Liao Xiyuan, the Deputy Director General of the Bureau of Seed Management of the Ministry of Agriculture (MOA), and Mr. Xie Jianhua, the Deputy Director General of the National Agricultural Technology Extension Service Center, were presented at the exhibition. Deputy Director Generals of Institute of Plant Protection (IPP) Qiu Dewen and Wen Xue attended the exhibition.

ATaiLing was taken as one of the core techniques in the technology integration of yield and efficiency increase for green production of single-cropping rice. Deputy Director General Qiu introduced the effect of using ATaiLing in rice. ATaiLing, as a plant immune inducer, can enhance plant immunity and increase the resistance of rice against diseases. Rice expressed good resistance and yield increasing after application of ATaiLing. The incidence of false smut of rice was 32.5% in untreated control while it was 10% in treated field after ATaiLing was used in rice cultivar ChunYou 85 and ChunYou 927. The control efficacy was 69.2%. The effective panicle increased 11.5% and the number of grains 8.4%. The estimated yield increased was above 15%. The effects of resistance and increase to yield were obvious as exhibited on-site and widely accepted by the participants of the exhibition.

More than 100 participants attended the exhibition. The participants included Mr. Yuan Longjiang, Director General of the Department of Agricultural Technology Transfer of CAAS, Mr. Li Xinhai, Deputy Director General of the Department of Research Management of CAAS, and Prof. Cheng Shihua from China National Rice Research Institute of CAAS, relevant leaders from Zhejiang Province and Zhuji City, Agricultural Technology Extension Stations of Anhui, Jiangxi, Hubei and Guangxi and Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences, leaders and experts from the Institute of Agricultural Resources and Regional Planning of CAAS and Nanjing Institute of Agricultural Mechanization of MOA and Dr. Yuan Jingjing from IPP.
