Professor GUO Yuyuan, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, famous agricultural entomologist, member of the 8th and the 9th national committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), formal director general of the Institute of Plant Protection, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, died of illness, at age of 84, in Beijing at 1:25 am on 29 May, 2017.

We inform that the farewell ceremony of Academician GUO Yuyuan will be held at the eastern hall of Babaoshan Revolutionary Cemetery at 9:00 am on 4 June, Sunday, 2017.
