China's first anti-viral protein pesticide—— "ATaiLing" has been successfully demonstrated
Fom June to November 2014, China’s first anti-viral protein pesticide “ATaiLing”, which was developed by the Institute of Plant Protection, CAAS, was conducted the anti-viral field experiment in Jianghua Yao Autonomous County and Changsha County of Hunan Province. The active ingredient of ATaiLing is a microbial protein elicitor which could induce the plant resistance. Through large-scale fermentation processes and biological preparation, scientists in IPP developed the wettable powder protein pesticide ATaiLing. It has good control effect on southern rice black streaked dwarf virus disease with the efficacy of 60%-70%. When combined with chemical pesticides, the control efficacy was up to 90%. During the integrated demonstration in double cropping rice farm of Pearl Lake in Jiangxi, ATaiLing demonstrated good effect on disease resistance and rice yield increase, and the rice yield was increased by 7%-12%. After treatment with ATaiLing, the rice stems became more sturdy and lodging-resistant, tillers and spikes increased significantly, and grains were much fuller. The local growers also think that ATaiLing is not only easy to use, and the effect is obvious. All of them are willing to learn the application techniques.
Beijing zhong bao lv nong High and new science and technology co., LTD informed that the product sales exceeded 50 tons in six months, the application areas reached one million mu, and the sales amount achieved more than 700 million RMB.
