2016-present Research on NGS data analysis of salivary gland and midgut transcriptome in Bemisia tabaci. Institute of Plant Protection, CAAS, Associate Professor.

2015-2016 Research on endo-symbionts and plant viruses of east Africa Bemisia tabaci, University of Western Australia, Visiting Scholar.

2013-2015 Research on salivary gland and endo-symbionts of Bemisia tabaci. Institute of Plant Protection, CAAS, Associate Professor.

2010-2013 Research on Insect physiology and molecular biology in Institute of Plant Protection, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Assistant Professor.

EDUCATION

2007-2010 PhD at the Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, P.R.China; Thesis: vitellogenesis and its regulation pathway in Bemisia tabaci

2005-2007 Joint master student at the Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, P.R.China; Training programme on risk assessment of transgenic plant, experimental technique on effection of Bt rice to the development of insect;

2004-2007 Master degree: Biological control of pest insect at the Shanxi agricultural university, Taigu, P.R.China ; Thesis: Oogenesis and the regulation pathway of a parasitoid wasp;

2000-2004 Bachelor degree: Traditional landscape of architecture in China, at the Shanxi agricultural university, Taigu, P.R.China.

Research Area:

1 Biological Invasion: regulation of insect reproduction using hormone and nutrition. We also using the NGS data to reveal the molecular pathway related to insect oogenesis.

2 Microorganism: endosymbiont as biological control factor

3 Insect and Plant Interaction: Chemical moleculars which could regulate plant defense system.
