Research Area：
My study focuses on seed coating and seed treatment to protect seeds and seedlings from insects and diseases, including coating technologies and evaluating the bioefficacies of active ingredients against insects and diseases. Over the course of seed germination and emergence, the chemical stress caused by active ingredients to seeds and seedlings is also what I am studying on. Recently, the emphasis is on incorporating pesticide within microcapsules to mitigating the phytotoxicity risk of pesticides applied via seed treatment and reducing pesticide application dosage.
In addition, some of my studies are on pesticide application including the deposition and distribution of droplets within the canopies of crops.
