Research Area:

 Research Interests

My research aims to combine genetic and ecological approaches for improving maize pest management. Under this area of study, current research interests include development of an IPM with insect resistance (cisgenic and transgenic) maize as a key principle component; identifying and using native insect resistance; insect resistance management (IRM) fro Bt maize; deciphering the transient extreme T and elevated atmospheric CO2-mediated changes on maize-herbivore-natural enemy interactions under climate change.
