About this Journal

Plant Protection, founded in 1963, is sponsored by the China Society of Plant Protection and Institute of Plant Protection, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Science，and superintended by China Association for Science and Technology. The Journal publishes original papers on basic and applied researches in all aspects of plant protection on the occurrence, biology, ecology of insect pests, plant diseases, weeds and rodents, the related mechanisms and all means of control for integrated pest management such as plant resistance, natural enemy, pesticide and agricultural machinery. The published papers fall into the following columns: Review, Research Report, Laboratory Method & Technology, Short Communication, Survey, Field Technology & Application, Information of Pests, etc.

There are six printed issues each year. Papers are published in Chinese with summary, figures and tables in English. Published papers of the journal are available in both print and electronic copies. The electronic full texts are available at http://www.plantprotection.ac.cn.
