张杰，男，汉族，1965年10月生，博士、研究员、博士生导师。1987、1990年分别于原北京农业大学获得学士和硕士学位，1990年7月分配至中国农业科学院植物保护研究所工作至今。2000年7月于中国农科院研究生院获得博士学位，2002-2003年在美国Cornell大学进行博士后研究。现任中国农业科学院植物保护研究所副所长，中国农科院科技创新工程“生物杀虫剂的创制与应用”团队首席科学家。2015年获“全国农业科研杰出人才”荣誉称号，2017年入选中国农科院“农科英才”。曾获农业部中华农业科技奖—优秀创新团队奖、大北农科技成果奖。获得国家发明专利授权37项，2016年荣获“中国专利优秀奖”。在国内外重要期刊发表学术论文300余篇，其中在The ISME Journal、Applied and Environmental  Microbiology、Insect Biochemistry and Molecular Biology等SCI源刊物发表论文95篇。

 主持和承担的课题

国家重点研发计划项目、973计划、863计划、转基因生物新品种培育重大专项、国家自然科学基金、IPP—Dupont—Pioneer合作研究等课题20余项。

 主要研究方向与研究内容

研究方向为重要生防微生物功能基因研究与利用。研究内容包括Bt菌株、基因资源挖掘，抗虫工程菌与转基因植物研制与与应用、Bt蛋白杀虫作用分子机制等研究。
