蔺瑞明,男,1972年出生于内蒙古包头市。1993年获得沈阳农业大学植物保护专业学士学位,1999年获得沈阳农业大学植物病理学专业硕士学位,2005年获得中国农业大学分子植物病理学专业博士学位。1993年至2001年在辽宁省农业科学院作物研究所从事大豆抗孢囊线虫病育种研究;2005年至今在中国农业科学院植物保护研究所植物病害研究室工作,从事麦类作物抗条锈病、蠕孢叶斑病等真菌病害的分子遗传与中间新抗源材料创制,麦类作物病重要原真菌致病力变异和适应逆境胁迫的应答机制。2006年和2011-2012年分别在西澳大利亚大学、西澳大利亚州农业部CLIMA中心和美国俄亥俄州立大学植物病理学系作访问学者。目前担任中国植物保护学会植物抗病虫专业委员会秘书长。
蔺瑞明长期从事作物真菌病害研究,主持2项国家自然科学基金项目和1项现代农业产业技术体系项目,参加国家自然科学基金国际合作项目、国家重点基础研究发展计划、国家高技术研究发展计划、农业公益性行业科研专项等项目。从我国小麦地方种质筛选一批成株抗条锈病材料,并对YrBm等主效成株抗条锈病基因进行标记定位和转育利用;承担大麦青稞产业技术体系病害防控岗位,系统调查了大麦青稞主要病害发生和危害情况,新病害鉴定及其侵染途径研究;组建大麦主要病原菌的鉴别品种,监测麦根腐平脐蠕孢菌(Bipolaris sorokiniana)、白粉菌(Blumeria graminis f. sp. hordei)和条锈菌(Puccinia striiformis f. sp. hordei)等大麦主要病原真菌致病力变异,积极推动和促进大麦抗病基因筛选及其在抗病育种中的应用。在Frontiers in Plant Science、Molecular Breeding、Plant Disease和Theoretical and Applied Genetics等期刊发表SCI科研论文10余篇,在中文核心期发表论文20余篇,出版译著1部;获得农业部和中国农学学会颁发的“中华农业科技奖”一等奖1项。
